Hi all,
in my company we are using a special vpn client. There is a 3-factor authentication.
First logging in with user and password. Then a virutal smartcard prompts and waiting for typing in pin.
After that you need to type in a random pin from a mobile or hardware token.
Everything working fine on Windows 10 in the past with version 1909 and lower.
After updating to version 2004 we cant connect to vpn still using a virtual smartcard.
We tried several possible solutions with the technical support of the vpn provider, but there was no fix.
Without using a virtual smartcard there is no error and it connecting succesful on several devices.
It seems that the certificate on the virtual smartcard is getting the error prompt "The Server you want to connect to requests identification, please choose a certificate and try again"
And there is something changed in process of a virtual smartcard while updating to firmware version 2004.
I got the same behavior on 2 different devices as well.
But for the company there is no way to use it without a smartcard!
Any Ideas?
