Schon im Juli berichteten wir über mögliche finanzielle Probleme beim Stargate Worlds-Entwickler Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. Damals stand zumindest eine Finanzspritze von 8 Millionen US-Dollar in Aussicht, doch anscheinend steckt das MMORPG auch weiterhin in Schwierigkeiten. So äusserte sich Timothy N. Jenson, President und CEO von Cheyenne Mountain, gegenüber unseren Kollegen von massively.com, dass man derzeit weiterhin auf der Suche nach Investoren wäre. Zwar sei das Team nach wie vor von Stargate Worlds überzeugt, doch ohne frisches Geld würde es keine Neuigkeiten in der Entwicklung geben. "While there continues to be a lot of desire, enthusiasm and excitement about the project from our employees, investors and fans, we will not be able to provide any updates on the development of Stargate Worlds until sufficient funding is available."
