Retrieve email pw from Outlook

Hi,

is there any way I can retrieve the passwords of my email accounts from Outlook? I´m afraid I´ve lost them. I only have the ones in my password list and I´m sure I have changed them both, so I´m at a loss here - but I have the correct current ones in Outlook, so I hope I can get them back from there...

There are serveral applications that unmask passwords in asteriskmasked textfields.
That would be one possible solution.

But you should also be able to contact your mailprovider (at least when they offer access to mailboxes via webmail) to change your password(s)...

Die in Outlook hinterlegten Passwörter sind noch richtig?

Dann solltest Du dir mal Wireshark anschauen.

Wenn Outlook Mails abholt, werden die Passwörter in Wireshark sichtbar.

Simple, free, small: Nirsoft Protected Storage PassView or alternatively Nirsoft MailPassView. Both will show Outlook Accounts.

Das von Download-Tipp hab ich grad mal probiert, das geht bei mir leider nicht, weil ich Outlook hab, nicht Outlook Express. Wireshark probier ich jetzt mal.
