Als Win-User (der seine Win-System-Sounds auch unter Linux mag) ist für mich die kompakte
LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition Cinnamon) ein wahrer Glücksgriff.

Unter MSDOS gab es ja jede Menge Möglichkeiten, den Command Prompt zu modifizieren.
Jetzt wurde ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass es ein Projekt gibt, mit dem modifizierte Prompts unter fast allen Shells möglich sind

Auf jeden Fall eine schöne nerdige Spielerei.

Na ja, starship kann mehr als nur Farbe, wie man im Beispiel sieht.
Und dass die MSDOS Befehle in der Eingabeaufforderung funktionieren, ist ja auch nix besonderes, denn dazu ist sie ja gemacht.
Noch besser ist WIndows Terminal, weil man da verschiedene Shells nebeneinander benutzen kann

Sicher, aber wer weiß das schon noch, was damals ging; keiner nutzt mehr exit, sondern benutzt die Maus. Oder Bildschirm löschen per Kommando; kennt auch kaum noch einer. Ich komme grade bissel ins Schwärmen; bin eben Kind der Tastatur. Vor allem bei dieser Ansicht...
