flv-files für WMP
Hallo
Ich habe eine Lösung gefunden die es ermöglicht, flv-Dateien im Wondows Media Player zu wiedergeben. Hoffe du kannst englisch. Den Text habe ich gefunden unter:

Many people have a lot of .flv (flash video) files saved on the HD,
since YouTube, Myspace and other major sites are now using the flv/swf
format for their videos. As delivered, many players including WMP 11
will not support an isolated flv file. However if you have downloaded
certain other players or authoring programs for flv/swf, WMP 11 might
support flv. So try it to see. It likely will say it does not know
flv, but ask if you want to try to play it anyway. Several of my
players will now play flv that do not come with that ability. I am
guessing they are getting use of the necessary codecs from my
downloads of the Moyea encoder for authoring flv.swf files or from the
FLV Player.
To check all of your players, find a flv file, right click on the icon
for it and select open. Then select your various players. I find that
in this way I can get WMP11, WMP 6.4, Media Player Classic, AVS, and
GOM players to play the flv. Real does not play, but rather finds the
FLV Player which is set for primary for flv on my computer and plays
on it. Cyberlink , iTunes, Nero Showtime, QuickTime, and Winamp will
not play the flv.
If you want WMP 11 to play flv, and it will not, go to
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_play_flv_files.cfm
where you will find instruction for downloads that will make the WMP
and some other players work. WMP requires an extra download or two in
some cases. Or you can find a player that plays flv as delivered if
you find the instructions for WMP too complicated.
