Hi there,
I have a problem with my Xbox profile. I have a Microsoft account and changed my email address. Since then I can't get into any of my Microsoft Games anymore (e.g. Forza Horizon 3). I called Microsoft hotline twice and they tried to help but could not help me. Both times they said they would ask someone from the games department because they think it is a problem with my games account but they never mailed me or called me back.
So this is the problem: Everytime I want to start a game I can reach the main menu of the game but then it says "Profile changed! The subscribed profile has changed" and it tells me to restart the game. When I do, the same message pops up. I think that the change of my email-address just screwed up my Xbox profile somehow and now my Xbox profile doesn't recognize my Microsoft account.
My question: I can't get into any of my games so I think about deleting my Xbox profile (it's a regular account, not Xbox live) and I hope that I can create another profile afterwards. But I read on the web that this is not possible because you have to delete your whole Microsoft account in order to delete your Xbox profile. Is this correct? If not, then how do I delete my Xbox profile without deleting my Microsoft account? Please reply.
I'm happy for any answers because I really don't know what to do anymore and it seems that even Microsoft can't handle this.
