Demo der Adventure-Episode steht bereit



Pünktlich zur Veröffentlichung der neuen Adventure-Episode Sam & Max: Chariots of the Dogs haben die Entwickler von Telltale Games eine spielbare Demo veröffentlicht. Die nicht mal 100 MByte große Probierversion lässt Sie ein wenig in das Spielgeschehen reinschnuppern, diverse Schauplätze besuchen und erste Rätsel lösen. Eventuell animiert Sie das ja dann zum Kauf der Vollversion.

In Chariots of the Dogs ist der bereits aus früheren Episode bekannte Boscoe plötzlich wie vom Erdboden verschluckt. Sam & Max machen sich auf die Suche nach ihm und stoßen dabei auf etwas so Unglaubliches, dass man es gesehen haben muss, um es zu glauben - was auch immer das sein mag.

Sunny Blonde stops over for a quick visit



dtp has released a playable demo of So Blonde, allowing you to try out this adventure game where you play as Sunny Blonde, a 17-year old blonde girl stranded on an island all by herself. Being on a cruise in the Bermudas, the ship is hit by a heavy thunderstorm and the cute girl escapes the tragedy in a life boat. On top of that, she is transported a few hundred years back in time, in an age when the pirates and buccaneers ruled the world. Probably that's why her cell phone has no coverage and there are no malls around. So Blonde has shortly been released in German-speaking territories and will be published in Q2 2008 in most territories over the world.

Wer schon immer mal einen interessierten Blick auf das Strategiespiel Sins of a Solar Empire geworfen hat, vor dem Kauf aber gerne eine Probepartie absolvieren möchte, bekommt jetzt die Gelegenheit dazu. Ab sofort steht eine spielbare Demo zum Download bereit, die vier Tutorials, zwei kleine Karten samt KI-Gegner sowie eine per Zufallsgenerator erstellte Karte enthält. Die Spielzeit der 540 MByte großen Probierversion ist allerdings auf insgesamt 90 Minuten begrenzt - im Gegenzug sind sämtliche Funktionen verfügbar.



Das Weltraum-Strategiespiel Sins of a Solar Empire stammt aus den Studios von Stardock Entertainment, die sich bereits mit Galactic Civilizations 1 & 2 einen Namen im Strategie-Genre gemacht haben. Der Weltraum scheint daher ihr bevorzugter Schauplatz zu sein.

The demo features a match between England and Germany

Electronic Arts has released a playable demo of UEFA EURO 2008, giving you the chance to try out the only officially licensed videogame of UEFA EURO 2008, one of the world's largest sporting events that crowns the UEFA European Soccer Champion every four years. Thanks: Blues/Tiscali Games. The game features stunning visual representations of the world's most famous soccer players, all of the teams and official stadiums that will be part of UEFA EURO 2008, and a new game mode called Captain Your Country which will enable gamers to put themselves on the pitch, earn the captaincy of their team and truly inspire their country to glory. In addition, an online mode call Battle of the Nations will enable gamers around the world to lead their country to global supremacy. UEFA EURO 2008 will hit the store shelves across Europe on April 11 and will be available in North America on May 20, for PC, PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360 and mobile.
Update: the demo is corrupted, it will be re-uploaded as soon as the publisher will release a proper demo.

Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis sends players to 19th Century London where Arsene Lupin, a young French burglar with an impressive track record, has just challenged Scotland Yard and the most famous of detectives - Sherlock Holmes. Lupin has announced that he plans to rob the capital of five objects of immense value over the course of five days. The objects are housed in highly prestigious locations such as the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Tower of London and even Buckingham Palace. Sherlock Holmes will have to muster all his courage and ingenuity to save England from terrible humiliation. Available now in mainland Europe under the name Sherlock Holmes Versus Arsene Lupin, Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis will be released in the US and UK in Q2 2008.

Das Game wurde von den noch unbekannten Entwicklern Cyborg Arm Games erschaffen und wird nur über deren Webseite vertrieben. Zur Story: Als ein biologisches Experiment schief geht, werden alle Bewohner einer Stadt in Zombies verwandelt. In gewohnter Ego-Ansicht spielt Ihr Robert, einen Zombie der in der von Choas regierten Stadt nach seiner Frau sucht. Ihr werdet von Soldaten angegriffen und verwirrte Untote wollen Euch fressen.
Wenn Ihr nun Blut geleckt habt, dann könnt Ihr in einer spielbaren Demo sehen, ob es sich lohnt Geld für dieses Spiel auszugeben.
